What this website does
Umpirewear presents clothing and association services. Retail orders, customer accounts, payments and fulfilment are handled through Tempestshop.com. Its privacy policy explains the information used for those activities.
Information we receive
When you submit an enquiry or email us, we receive the contact details, association information, requirements and other information you choose to include. We also receive artwork you email separately. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal data about members and do not include card details. The form submits your entries to FormSubmit, which emails them to sales@tempestshop.com; it does not require your own email app.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to answer questions, prepare requested proposals, discuss a range and provide customer support. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract where applicable, and our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and providing customer service. Legal obligations may require us to retain relevant transaction records. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up for marketing.
Form delivery
We use FormSubmit to process and email form submissions. It receives the fields you submit and technical request information needed to deliver and protect the form. FormSubmit states that it retains a submissions archive for 30 days. Its security checks may involve a third-party verification provider. Read FormSubmit’s privacy information (PDF). You can contact us directly by email if you prefer not to use this service.
Service providers and sharing
Our website hosting and security providers process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs to deliver and protect the site. Our email and IT providers process correspondence so that we can respond. Where an enquiry leads to an order, relevant information is used by our ecommerce, decoration, delivery and payment services as described in the Tempestshop privacy policy. We do not sell enquiry information.
Retention and security
We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting relationship, resolve complaints, and meet legal or accounting obligations. The relevant factors include whether a proposal remains active, whether an order was placed and whether records are needed for a dispute. Please contact us to ask about deletion of a closed enquiry. We restrict access to information to those who need it to carry out their work.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable. Contact sales@tempestshop.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and external links
Read our cookie notice for browser storage information. Product links include referral parameters identifying Umpirewear as the source; they do not contain your contact details. Once you follow a link, the destination’s privacy and cookie information applies.
Photography
Selected archive photographs have been digitally adapted to change faces and identifying details. They illustrate Tempest clothing in use and do not imply a current endorsement by the people or organisations originally photographed.
Changes
We update this notice when our website or processing changes. The update date appears above.
